The Government of Delhi took up the challenge for providing haemophilia care in Delhi. In May 2008 Anti-Haemophilic Factor Injection were made available in Lok Nayak Hospital, Guru Teg Bahadur Hospital and Deen DayalUpadhyay Hospital. A full-fledged, state-of-art Haemophilia DayCare Centre was started at Maulana Azad Medical College and Lok Nayak Hospital to provide comprehensive diagnostic, therapeutic, physiotherapy and counseling services to patients from Delhi and neighbouring states.
Government of Delhi is providing costly AHF (Anti Haemophilic Factors) free of cost to all emergency patients. Delhi Govt. is committed to maintain an improve haemophilia care in its associated hospitals.
