Currently, this haemophilia centre caters to over 1,500 persons/ patients  registered with HDCC by providing comprehensive care to haemophilia patients, their families, and the community from across the country with the large numbers coming from northern India. The facilities include

  • Treatment of acute bleeding episodes
  • Management of chronic bleeding issues
  • Follow up of all the patients
  • Diagnosis of haemophilia/ bleeding disorders including inhibitor screening
  • Physiotherapy for affected persons
  • Socio-economic assessment and the counseling  of the susceptible groups
  • Appropriate multi-speciality consultation services (in-house).
  • Advising and coordinating with other departments of hospital including for the pre- & post-operative care of patients
  • Information, awareness, education and training programmes for different haemophilia healthcare providers including capacity building
